Look at me

Make sure to check back every once in a while, about every week, for more information and pictures.
Life changes alot when you are so new.

You can also email me to make sure that I am still OK.

Or, you can email my mother to make sure that she is still OK.

This page is in some sort of chronological order. Below is the life of my parents before me and before I was conceived. Then above that it
starts revers chronological order. Thus the newest material is at the top. Enjoy. You can see that I was born January 7, 2005. My parents
blessed me with the wonderful name, Grace Xanthe. Though my father lost out on Xanthe Grace. It has been a fun ride thus far.

Father bought me a new dress tonight.

Having a blast lately. I got ready and participated in Easter again this year. We went to Easter brunch at our club. We got there and I decided to have a bread stick.
I then decided what I wanted to eat.
Then I had to wait for brunch to arrive. It was yummy.

I have also decided to get out and see the flowers my mother planted.

Hanging out a little bit. Got my first bike, more a tricycle, but it is still fun.

I also have played with my toys in the house.

Also, father got to go andplay with one of his new toys.

Also I have my ears for Easter. Thanks JJ.

Howdy everyone.

Spring has sprung, more or less. Though it is supposed to snow this weekend.

In recent outings I have found that I like holding things down.

Getting ready for Easter too.

Big news. I have a big girl bed, brother has moved into the crib now.

I have been two for a little while now. It is pretty cool, I hang out and watch the world.

Father also took two hours to put my kitchen together. He is the best parent in the whole world.

It has snowed a little bit here too. It is also frigidly cold. I have gone out and enjoyed it, however.

I have also hit the big time. Terrible Twos.

Well, we went through Christmas and my birthday so far. Basically, it was lots of gifts for me. So, here is a montage

I saw all of my family for Christmas and got lots of cool stuff.

I also hung out with the extended cousings on my mother's side of the family.

Then I saw them again for my birthday and got even more cool stuff. I did less crying this year. I also enjoyed
my birthday meal very much. Pizza and french fries, yummy.

Sorry I have not kept up with my page. I have been busy playing and helping with my little brother. I got a
few minutes to put a few more pictures up. Though these are from Thanksgiving.

I went apple shopping with mother for a while. It was cool. I helped alot.
Then I also helped with flower shopping. It was also alot of fun.
I also got to ride a carousel recently. it was also lots of fun. Yeah.

Today I met my brother. He was alright, I guess.

Breaking News

This is how I reacted when I heard. My baby brother was born December 7. Go to his site, link at left, to see the pictures that father took at the hospital.
Mother and he are doing fine and having fun, I guess, even without me. I have not met him yet, but I am sure that he will learn his place.

I have been busy, so I will just give a montage now. This shows me going to a cidermill, carrying cider, in my halloween costume, etc. I was a pink cat, do not ask mother found it.
I like to roar in my costume.

Well, it has been a busy month. Most recently I have been checking out the yard and inside of my family's new house. We even get to move in
next week. It should be a grand time and I am sure that I will be very tired from the move.

I also tried to help out around the last house. I guess that we are transplanting flowers and such. Also went to say good buy to my friends at the local park.

Earlier this month I took my parents to the Michigan State Fair. There were lots of fun things to see there.

One of my favorites was the allpaca. If you do not know why go and buy the album "Here Come the ABCs" by They Might Be Giants (the best band in the world).

OK. The big news that Everyone has been waiting for. The baby in mother's womb is a BOY.
Yeah, I think.
He has his own site.

The other night I went to a Golfsmith store. I tried a belly putter, but I am not sure that it would help my game that much.

Tonight I went back to my country club for a little golfing with Father and Mother. I had fun running to the ball.

Then I helped in the sand. I think that the sand was just more fun, and not to be avoided.

Then I just helped father by caddying. I tended the flag for him and helped by moving leaves and cleaning his ball. I am very good at being a caddy.
Though one day, I am sure that I will beat father and be a great golfer too.

Howdy again. I have made it out to practice my gofling skills a little bit. I am getting rather good. I can make it go in the hole.

I have also practice cleaning things. There is a car, not in the picture, I am sure that I am washing it well.

Well a few things have happened recently. First, I got to participate in my grandmother's (father's side) wedding. I was very cute.
This is grandmother and new step-grandfather Joe.

Also, our family is getting bigger. This will be the last year of just us. A new sibling is growing in mother's tummy.

We should learn what it will be in a month or so.

I have also been able to get outside recently, though it is rather toasty and I enjoy the shade. My little cheeks get flushed in the heat.

I got to go to the beach for the first time, though it was a man made beach.

Just a primer of news to come.

Mother wanted me to add these pictures. Nothing too exciting, just me. Though there is one with me and three other generations. You may recognize them
from my previous generations pictures. This is in the spring though. And I am older.

I also have a few more teeth.

One more task down the drain. I can now easily be a productive member of society. I can walk with my hands free.
Though anyone who has been to my house knows that this is about 10 feet.

Spring is finally here. Yeah. I can go outside. As some of you may know my parents are trying to sell their house. I attempted to assist in this one day.

I also got to watch my seond Masters with father. Mother was working again this year. She missed a great finish by Phil.

And though I can stand unassisted I still refuse to walk or stand when I know that I am standing.

At least I have decided I can eat reall food with all of my teeth. I like mother's "chicken d'van". I east it by the fistfulls.

We also recently celebrated Easter. We went to Easter Brunch at Pine Lake CC. It was a blast. Then we took a few pictures in the foyer to

As you can see I am getting older and bigger. Though I am still not much into talking, I can generally get out "mama" an "dada" on command.
I will also always repsond to Thank you with a two syllable noise.

In addition I am getting prepared for Easter. I am not sure how colored eggs on a tree became a part of Easter, but mother likes it.

I am also rather quick, I can "cruise" as it were. I am also a little sneaky. I will first look at the destination.

I can then open the door to the destination that I want.

Then I get to play with my prize.

Also, I have mostly outgrown my original seat for automobile travel. So father bought me this cool big kid seat. Though you can not see it
here it comes with its own cup holder. I can not wait to use it. I have not actually ridden anywhere in it, but I was testing it for proper fit.

I will have more updates soon, but I needed to get it out there that my fourth tooth as come through. I am symmetric at least. A fifth and
sixth are almost here as well (both on the top though).

Howdy folks. I have been hanging out waiting for spring to come. Not much has been going on. Though I recently received some seconds
for my favorite toy.

I also like to sit around and tear apart tissue. I am perplexed by this.

I have also been helping out with the chores. Dishwashing is lots of fun.

Every once in a while I practice my paino as well. I like the baseline the best.

Mother also likes to take me to local shops to look at flowers. I guess that reminds us of spring. Though I barely remember that.

My parents have been a little lax in taking pictures. But it has snowed here again, so that I can not go outside. That is no fun.

Also Detroit hosted the Super Bowl XL. I missed it, I was asleep. I am sure that it was very exciting though.

Nearly one year and one month. It has been a great month. Though much of this update was chosen by my mother, so there will be little poignant comment.

regardless I am still cute. I even have a new tooth, my third.

I have also gotten a little taller, this shows it best. I used to have a good two to three inches above my head of the chair.

I also got to play outside in the winter. It was rather amazing. Though I would not know otherwise, it was in the 40s (F) in mid-January in
Michigan. Some people think this is odd, I call it great.

I am also practicing the piano. That is a piano to the left in the picture, I am playing one key at a time right now.

I also have so many toys, some may recall that it was recently Christmas and my birthday, that they are kept in my closet. I have to get them myself.

The rest are just me looking cute.

I Turned 1 year on January 7, 2006.

I had a party and everything. We set the table very nicely.

I had my own balloons too, it was a sort of Elmo and Sesame Street theme.

My family came, they were fun.
Great aunt, great grandmother, and my great great aunt were there. Both of my grandmothers were there.

I even talked to grandfather a little bit. I am warming up to him a touch, I am one you know. A little tougher.

Then we got to the good stuff, the presents. I love this, only two weeks from Christmas and I already get more stuff.

After a little while mother took over opening the gifts.

That upset me, and I let everyone know about it.

But then we got cake and candles.
I shared with everyone else, but I did not get any cake. That was not fair. I guess I am watchign my figure. I got yogurt though.

New Year 2006 came and went too, I was not too happy about that.

I also went shopping with mother. Thanks to this wonderful cart protector, I can do this:

We are past Christmas 2005. Though we had about 2 feet of snow, mother let it all melt then take me out in the first snow after that. Not much, but it is the first time
that I got to play in the snow.

After my great weekend with my father's family I spent this past weekend partying down with my mother's family. First, we started at my grandfather's (mother's side) family bash. My mother could not make it so I went alone with my father. We had a terrible time finding the place, due to misinformation about the address.
In any case, I was not too sure about the big group of new people all at once.

After a little while, however, I warmed up. This was helped alot by the toys I got.

Then I was happy enough to play with some of my cousins twice removed (or something, they are the children of my mother's cousins).
There are many more of them, but they all move really fast.

Then, my parents got sick. I helped out by watching after my father.

Then we spent Christmas Day with my mother's mother's family. That was fun. More toys.

I even posed for a four generation picture. That is my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother. It was great. I wanted more toys, or at least paper.

I also got to play with my mother's cousin Laura. She was fun.

After two weeks of partying though, I was a bit washed out at nights end. i could not even open my own preseants anymore.

Luckily, I only have about two weeks left to my birthday. YEAH.

Well, my mother has been pestering to update the website since Thanksgiving, though not much has happened. She went shopping to buy me a Christmas dress, then she
took about 100 pictures of me in it. She settled on this one for the Christmas Card.

Though there were many others, here is a mere sample. Notice I was very excited once I was informed that we had reached the last one.

My father's mother and sister also visited to celebrate Christmas with me. it was fun seeing grandma and my aunt again.

It gave me a chance to experience a little bit of Christmas a little bit early.

I am also getting a little bit more rambunctious. I am trying to hide so that I can stay up a little bit later now.

It has been a little while again, so this will be a little of a whirlwind. Recently Thanksgiving happened in the U.S. It was fun. Though I tried to act cute . . .
all I got was a little rubber ducky at the dinner table.

Prior to that, and before the snow came. I was able to play in the leaves. It was a grand time.

My mother also signed me up and has taken me to Gymboree (TM). It is a fun place where I can play with other little kids my age. Though I like to play by myself alot.

Also my mother bought me a christmas dress. Even though father was supposed to do it, but mother can be pushy that way.

Well mother has been hassling me to get some new pictures up. I guess it has been a little while. In particular, that video is old news now.
I am so fast at crawling it is unbelievable, but I have no more video. I also can walk, with assistance, now too. Check it out.

I am getting even more mobile. I can get around by myself and even clear small obstacles now.

You can see my first tooth in this picture.

It has been so long, however, that I also have a second visible tooth now (November 3, 2005).

I can also pull myself to stand, alone. It is now my favorite activity. Even as soon as I awake.

As a part of this pulling and standing I can walk by myself, with a tool. I am such a cruiser.

I have also seen some visitors. My father's mother (grandmother) and sister (aunt) came to visit. Though they took all of the pictures and I have none to share right now.
Also, my mother's brother came to visit. Uncle Brandon was here for a few days.

I also had a chance to travel to another cider mill. This time it was Yates. Here I am by mother and the stream.
You may recall that I remember this from last year.
It is a little brighter this time.

This time father got to hold me too.

We have also passed Halloween 2005. It was my first holiday in which I got to participate.

First I went to a party at our country club. Acutally, my father pays for it, but I like to call it ours, a family thing.

I also had my own party. It was fun. I invited a few of my friends and their parents.

This is (from left to right) Nicholas and his mother Heather, Patrick and his mother Kathy, and my mother and I.

I also let their fathers come too. This is (from the left) Jason, Matt, and my father.

That is about all there is. Though after Halloween we head quickly into winter in Michigan. I am ready for that eventuality.

Also, my father likes to embarass me. I can not wait until I get to put him into a retirement home.

I have learned a new activity. I am quite mobile. Not a speed crawler yet, but I can definately move. Now I can get what I want rather than crying until someone
brings it to me. This is a video clip illustrating my mobility.

I am also getting ready for my upcoming events. Such as halloween. I am going to be a scarecrow.

My parents are also taking me on their annual cider mill journeys. This week we went to Blake's Cider Mill and a local farm/shop.

At the farm shop there were lots of pumpkins.

I also sat with mother by some flower items.

Then I played with some fun cutouts.

Then I played in the cabbage patch. Some of you older folks may recall these dolls from the old days.

At blakes they have pumpkins too, though it is a cider mill and they have yummy cider and donuts.

Father came along for the journey as well.

Last week I went to another local mill, Franklin Cider Mill. (I should be charging for the advertisement). Here we are waiting for cider and donuts.

It used to be a water powered mill, and this is the stream that powered it.

I also went to visit my grandmother's decorations. I do look so enthused, do I not.

This is me being really advanced, I am reading and standing at the same time.

Also, I sleep in all positions now. I can flip myself at will.

I have some bad news though. Regardless that I always wear my coat . . .

I have caught my first cold, i think that my father gave it to me. Thanks dad.

And now, a word from my own hand
,,,,cyh c bm9l.;v,.,.c. bt,hy

Before the new pictures. I have a little news. My first tooth has broken through. Though I am a little shy about it and do not want to show anyone.

Howdy again, I have been hanging around for a while. I went out for a walk over the holiday weekend a while back. That is my great
grandmother pushing me.

It was great. It was warm and sunny. Even a little angel like.

I have also been helping mother with putting away the summer flowers and getting ready for the fall blooms and the spring bulbs.

I love to help.

Soon we will be heading to the cider mills, or so my mother says. I am sure that they are exciting.

I am also practicing my reading. I already love books. I am sure that my librarian grandmother and Informational Specialist friend are happy to hear this.

Though my version of reading is still a little outside of the mainstream. Though I feel I get a more fulfilling experience this way.

Me again, sorry for the delay. Father went to LA for a while and has not gotten to update the website recently with my pics and commentary. He is sorry for that.
His traveling pics will be in the vacation section soon, though not quite yet. I also went to a couple of Labor Parties, one that I hosted and one that grandmother Kropp hosted.
No pictures were taken at mine, I was too busy, but pictures from the other are coming soon.

In the mean time I have gotten a touch better at staying on all fours, though I am not really crawling yet.

I do, however, like to reach for my toys.

In a similar manner I really do nto like leaning back anymore, I am very enthusiastic about sitting up.

With my new found mobility, sort of, I also like to really go after what I like. Who knew that grass was like catnip. I only takes a second, just fall and reach.

Take the possability of grass away from me though, and I could care less about nature though. (This was mere seconds later)

I am trying to get out and see what there is to see. I went to the local park and rode on the slide, the swing, and a little climbing thing.

I even go to dinner parties.

I am also learning to sit a little bit. I can even sit unsupported. I like to play with sit-up toys now.

Moreover, I am also practicing brushing my teeth, though there are no teeth there to brush yet.

Finally, I have big eyes. Better to see you with.

Well, father finally got me a real pool. After being forced to use my swimsuit in my bathtub (albeit outside) several times I finally got to play in a real pool.

It was lots of fun, though there is not really enough room for father and me.

Though he did play with me for a little while, from the side lines.

He also got me a little floatation device to allow me to play by myself, though with close adult supervision.

Check out the new Stuff on my Mother's Page

I have also been becoming a little more interactive. You might almost think there is something going on inside my little head.

My mother also thought that I looked so cute sleeping like this. I guess I did not mind the pictures too much. I let her take at least three.

My grandmother on my father's side also visited again. She brought me some nice coveralls. I have been playing in them before I outgrow them.

I have a few new toys that I can play with now. I can sit up, supported, so I have a fun entertainer. I enjoy it immensely.

I have also gotten out to enjoy my mother's flowers. She loves them alot. I try to humor her.

Though sometimes I just fel like this.

Well, though spring has sprung it feels like summer has pounced on us here. So, I pulled out the swimsuit and splashed in the water for a little while
my mother was so anxious to get me in the suit that she could not wait for a proper pool. So I had to wear my suit and swimming diaper in my washing tub.
Do not worry though, JJ, a friend of mine, got me a life vest, if I ever go in deeper water I am safe.

Also, although grandmother Kropp can not let our shoes rest at the door mat in the house (even in the dead of winter, they must go outside) and a water glass is whisked
away as soon as it is set down, she saved this Saks Fifth Avenue baby carriage that carried both my mother and uncle when they were babies.>

With the onslaught of summer I have made it outside and let my little toes feel the grass.

I even managed to lift my head for one of the shots that my mother took.

I even almost managed a step, though with alot of help. More like a little tap forward.

We went shopping. I have two cute new outfits. One that my mother picked out.

And one that my father picked out.

Though he went shopping for both. The nice ladies in the stores did not believe his amazing fashion sense. They also thought he was illiterate and
could not read the size tags.

As you can see below I have been trying feeding myself. I have gotten a little better. Mother was supposed to video it as well, but her technological skills are not that great.

I can also play by myself for a lot longer and better now. I can swat at things pretty good.

I can grab things, whether they are above me
or whether they have been layed in my lap.

I am also getting better at ligting my head up. Not only higher, but for longer periods of time. No crawling yet though.

I have been practicing eating. I have tried to help, but my aim is not too good.

My parents got to go out to dinner for Mother's Day. I was not invited. Though they did come and get me after dinner for photos.

I have also advanced a little bit in the recent past, no teeth yet, but some other things.

I can also sleep on my back with no support, though mother does not believe it. But I have proof, or at least father does.

Mother, however, has taken me out to see her flowers. Though a few more are in bloom, she still has issues framing photos. But I am enjoying
the sun at least.

I also got my first bite of non-milk food. My father got me organic certified winter squash. It was yummy, and some of it went in my tummy too.

I have also managed to finally fit in an outfit that some friends got me four months ago when I was born, I am just over 4 mos. now. A wonderous occasion.

Well things are slowing down a little bit. I am getting a little bit better at holding my head up, and I am probably starting to teeth. Other than
that not too much is going on.

Though I like to sleep with my arms in the air.

I also like to smile and watch mother do house work.

I got baptised last weekend, and then this weekend my friend Anne got baptised. She enjoyed it as well, though the church she went to was less
showey about it so there are no actual splashing pictures.

My father and mother are the godparents of Anne. Though Anne's mother is my godmother, Anne's father is not. He was unhappy about this.

That is my great uncle behind Anne's father looking unhappy. My friend Jodi took the picture of him looking distraught. I am much happier, though,
when Jodi was holding me.

After Anne's splashing we hung out for a little while at her house. This is her and I, she is being held by her Grandmother on her father's side.

Mother is not so impressed with that last picture, so she made father add another one. This is Anne and I watching Carl, read in detail about him below, eat.
We are learning valuable eating techniques that we too can use, maybe in about 9 months.

Some side notes. Jodi liked to show the juxtaposition of my baptism and my father's material goods.
Though he is wearing pink for me. You can read more about his watch.

Anne's brother, Carl, also came to the baptism event. He is alright, he likes to share with me right now. Though he was demonstrating how he likes to drink milk.

I will narrate. First, put your fork into a container containing the milk beverage.

Then, transfer the fork from the container to your mouth and suck, if needed.

Carl's grandfather thought that this was, at least in part, a Polish manner of drinking milk. I am not so sure though, my father is part Polish and
he never drank milk like this.

I got the pictures that my cousin once removed took. They are good. They show different perspectives.

First, there is the action of the actual splashing, that was exciting.

Also, they lit a cnadle so that I can remember this day, since I am a baby. My uncle, and now godfather, did this.

Another shot of the nuclear family. I was facing at the camera, I do not know what mother and father were doing.

I appreacite everyone coming for my special day. Greatgrandmother, Grandmother, and Grandfather on my mother's side, Grandmother on my father's side, Aunt Melissa,
Uncle Brandon, Cousin once removed Laura, Aunt once removed Amy, and Uncle once removed Ross. Also, my friends Scott and Julie (godmother) and Jodi.
I also enjoyed all of my preseants.

Other first things. I met my uncle this week, this is my mother's brother. He is cool.

I also got my first official Pine Lake Country Club outfit, I am ready to hit the links now with father.

I also got baptized. Here are the honeries, besides myself, and their various positions in the event.

This is my father arriving, thanks to his amazing driving skills, about five minutes late. We will not place the blame on anyone as to why he was late
we will simply say that he was.

In case you were not aware, i was baptized into the Catholic church. Though the minister noted that this allows me into the whole Christian faith.

I as first held over the baptismal font.

Then my mother was more stunned that I was at the whole thing.

Other than that I got to be held alot, which I loved. I am really tired, so you will just have to look at the pictures. I can not stay awake
to narrate the whole event. Though I got to see my grandmother again (my father's mother), my aunt, and others (who are not pictured).

I also apologize that I forgot to bring home tonight the pictures from my cousin once removed. Sorry Laura, my father enjoyed the party a little too
much and the pictures are still in his coat pocket at the house of the granparents. So there will be more baptism pictures to follow this week.

Though I was at home watching the 2005 Masters on TV, my grandfather was there. Here he is.

Oh my gosh, can you believe, Tiger won his 4th Masters. He is number one in the world again.

First i waited with baited breath

Then I watched him win with a birdy on the first playoff hole against Chris DiMarco.

I love golf, and I loved watching my first Major with my father.

I am also preparing for my baptism. I tried on my outfit. I am so happy to have it on, it is great.

Ialso look cute it in here.

I have also learned to talk. In a manner of speaking at least.

I have advanced further. Besides field stripping guns, see below, I can grasp simple tools.
I can do it with no emotion.

I can do this happliy.

And I can be upset by it.

The spectrum of emotions in 10 seconds.

Notice, however, that I was never unhappy and only concentrated on my gun stripping activity.

Well, another holiday has come and gone. My mother is practicing her photography, so the best pictures show me in motion,
and the picture catches that. This one is not too bad though. Thank you both grandmas for my Easter Tree and Bunny.

My mother also got me/her a nice new toy. Though she is carrying me, I like to nap in this little gadget.

I am also otherwise progressing. I am getting much better at holding my head up. That is a good thing.

I also like to smile small

and big.

Though spectators were not allowed, and thus no pictures, my mother went to a piano competition this past weekend. She had a blast. She got a perfect score.
Though, apparently, you have to get many scores to get a trophy. Oh well, she is having fun learning to play the piano. Soon, she can accompany me when I
play an instrument. Though I am not sure when I will fit that in with my hectic golfing schedule.

All kinds of stuff has been happening. I was very excited to wear my sherpa hat.

I also got outside a little bit to enjoy the wonderful late winter. Not quite spring, but we will take what we can get here.

I am also getting a little better of smiling. Laughing, really is what this is.

I also like to imnpersonate animals now. Mother was sure she was going to get a picture of me happy laying amongst my animals.
It was not too bad, I guess.

Sometimes, though, I get a little tired of the attention.

I am, however, always ready to protect my family and home.

I am getting a little bit more control too. I can smile, for a second. Thus it is hard to catch with the camera.

I can also grip things and sort of hold them. Like this 7-iron of my father's.

I have eyebrows, sort of. Though I am sure that they can be seen (slightly) in other photos, this shows them a little better.

This is an even better shot of them.

Well, as all of you adults know after a little while life slows down and a routine, more or less, is established. You wake, you work, you sleep. I
too have begun doing this.

You work.

You discover a few new things about the world. Like reflections, those are exciting.

You workout.

Then you can rest in your crib, nicely arranged by your mother.

I have also found that I like my father's position for watching TV. I never knew how addicting it can be. Though I am getting quite good
at movnig my head to follow moving things.

I finally made it. Whether due to pure exhaustion or final acquiescence I am sleeping in my crib, for at least one day. Though the picture was taken
in the dark so as not to disturb my slumber. I also enjoyed a visit from another friend today. Perhaps that tired me out.

I am still having lots of fun with everyone. This last week I have been on a few new adventures, sort of. Not the grand ones where a life revealing event
occurs and you decide that your life thus far has been worthless and you must change it. Though, I am still rather young and these sorts of things happen alot.
I have practiced sleeping in my crib. Not something that I enjoy alot.

I also spent some time hanging out with my mother and father. My mother you can see, my father, is cropped out by my mother. She thinks that I am
more worth seeing than my father. Though here you are supposed to see how small I still am, especially compared to my father.

Well another little while has gone. I have made it through over 5 weeks of life so far. So much is happening.
I am up for watching a little TV now. I watched Big Break III Ladies Only on the Golf Channel. I am a lady, in case you were not aware.
I am sure that I will be able to play circles around them in a few years.

Also, I have made it into motion. Thanks to a nice co-worker of my father's I have a swing to try. Here I am swinging away. My father loves photgraphy.

Consequently, I have also decided to smile. Though some may not think it is smiling. I guarantee you that it is.

My mother is also quite the creative person. I sit proudly in front of my mur d'art. Perhaps the Louvre is in my future as well as Chateu d'Yquem.

Finally, I would like to thank father for his wonderful fashion taste.

In case you have been keeping track, today, February 7, 2005, is my first month birthday. Not the celebration of a full year of being alive, but
one month is not too bad. I have put on a couple of pounds and an inch or two. I go tomorrow to make sure that I am still doing well in the overall health department as well.

In the mean time I am not sure whether I am happy or sad to be getting older.

I also made it through the fourth week of my life OK. I watched some golf on TV with father.

Mother also convinced me to remain happy in my basinnette for a few minutes.

I also got a little smarter using my Baby Einstein (TM) play area.

I also got my picutre taken with the sheep. In case you were not aware my room theme is sheep. My mother got three sheep to represent herself, father, and me.
Here I am taking the place of the sheep that represents me. I am doing a pretty good job of representing myself, I think.

Well into my fourth week I am alive and still doing well. Growing, having new experiences, all great. I can lift my head, though the camera is not there for that.
I then recited my favorite sonnet. The camera was not there for that either. I also discussed my first experienced State of the Union Address given by
President G. W. Bush.

I also managed my first sun bath this week. I am trying to get some vitamin D. Also, some recent studies* indicate that sun exposure can decrease chances of skin cancer.
Do not worry though, we are sure to limit exposure to only a few minutes. I want to keep my fair skin for some time to come. Modeling, perhaps.

I also like hanging out with Mother and Father. We lay arround, have a drink, enjoy each others company. It is great. Soon we will get to go out
and enjoy the outdoors together. Maybe even play some golf. Father can not wait to play his new clubs.

And, as below, my mother likes to make sure that I get used to my toys nice and early. Less than a month old and I have been pictured surrounded by them
several times. I guess she wants to make sure that I am thought of and that I know it.

Another week has gone by, and I am still thriving. I have grown a little, and put on a little weight. I have also gotten to see my other grandparents.
This weekend I got to see my grandmother and grandfather from my mother's side. They were fun. Here I am hangin out with them.

This is grandma, she is a riot.

This is grandpa, he is pretty fun too.

Other big things happened too. My chord fell off. That was an excitingevent. I am sure that you all remember that day too. The last vestige of
physical maternal attachment falls away.

I am getting cleaned up afterwards.

Perhaps I will save it for posterity.

Some of my friends also stopped by and brought me more flowers. Here is one from a large arrangement they gave me. I thank them alot for that. I love flowers

I also managed a little bit of time to play with some of my toys. These are from all of my admirers.

Well I turned one week old last Friday. That is one down and only another 51 to make it to my first birthday. I can not wait.

So what do you think. Do I look different. This is me a mere six HOURS after I was born.

This is me when I was five DAYS old.

And this is me today, January 17, 2005, a whole 10 days old.

This past weekend my Grandmother Mary and Aunt Melissa came over to see me.
They are my father's mother and sister. Now almost everyone has seen me except for my Uncle Brandon. He is presently in Arizona. I hope that he is
enjoying the warm weather there. Good luck Uncle Brandon.

--------------------------------------------------

I finally made it. I am so proud of myself and my Mother. I arrived on January 7, 2005.
I made it out just after the new day at 1:19am. I weighed about 5 pounds and 9 ounces and was 18 inches long.
This was, of course, after several hours of laboring and pushing. My mother was a little tired.
I will try to convince her to let the picture of her holding me right after I came out be put on the internet.

Until then, you can just look at me. These are of me at the hospital for the two days I was there before I came home. I have been home for a little while,
but everyone is trying to get back up to speed with things, and not too many new pictures have been created yet.

Notice that my father's hand is only a tad shorter than I am. Though I am a little wadded up here.

I am not too embarrassed, really.
My dad setup this page because he finally got this cool 3D image of me using the latest ultrasound technology.
If you click on me

there are a few others of me in this state.

This is my immediate family.

My Mommy.

I am there in her tummy, I have not come out yet.
I should be here around the beginning of January.
Then the real fun begins for everyone.
Though I am still waiting around to get out, my parents have headed out for a little Christmas cheer. See me there, I am doing a somersault.

Here is the house that my mother decorated. This is before an evening of high class fun and revelry, and my mother is about 8 and half months pregnant. My mother is terribly excited right now. She thinks I might get here around Christmas this year. One can always hope. I am holding out for at least the middle of January.

My mommy has hobbies too. They are not as exciting as my father's toys, but here they are.

Before the spark that is my life was considered too much, my parents did other things.

My father loves his toys. If you are interested in viewing a few of his favorites, please humor him.

If my mother feels like talking to the world, they would be here.

I hope they had all the fun they wanted without me, it will be a long trip now.

And I can not wait until I am legal drinking age. By then I know that this stuff, Vona Mead drinks , will be made by the hundreds of gallons,
but all with the same love and care as if it were made only for those special occasions. Mead, trust me, it is the drink that everyone wants.
