Daytona Beach

We saw a few crazy things in Daytona Beach.

Like a minivan on the beach. You can tell that the biker babes and college dudes are
quaking in their boots now.

My parents also went on a Manatee Cruise.
Though there were apparently no manatees to be seen there were a few dolphins.

My mother also caught a few rays before I started to grow.
I know that she wishes she had those days back sometimes.

Kennedy Space Center

Still playing. But this is a rocket at the Kennedy Space Center.

Mackinaw Island, MI

For those of you who may not know there is a historic place in MI called Mackinaw Island.
It is a place with electricity and modern conveniences, like tourist traps, but no cars.
Thus it is old and fun to go to, apparently. My parents went there a few times, they saw things like flowers, buildings, etc.
You should go, really.

35th Ryder Cup

My father also went to see the 35th playing of the Ryder Cup.
Although the US got spanked, badly, it was still fun for him.
In case you could not tell, I am a girl. He got me two cute Ryder Cup dresses. to commemorate the event.

This is him standing behind the clubhouse at Oakland Hills.
He is standing near the green of number 1.
He shot a 5 there (it is a par 4) about one month before the Ryder Cup began. He is ready for the tour now.

He was also about t h a t close to Phil michelson too.
But we will not belittle Love III either. That is also Rick Smith.
He got only slightly less applause than Phil. I guess hosting "The Big Break" helps.

Colorado, USA

My father has also been to Colorado a few times. He spent a few summers out there in college, and recently returned for a short visit.
Not too long though, though it would a fun place to live.

He can get you the number for this place, if you want it. Though it was on the market a couple of summers ago, and may be gone now.
I think the asking price was a couple of hundred grand. it is in Red Cliff, downtown in fact.
That is about 20 minutes from Vail. just over a low pass.

If you buy the house, you will only be about 40 minutes from this. Though there is equally good scenery closer.

Movement

My father also likes to move to the beat.
Though he was holding the camera and none of his boring friends wanted to go to "MOVEMENT" in Detroit, MI.
So he settled photographing others.

I am sure that they will take me lots of fun places too.
Perhaps golfing in Scotland or to Chateu d'Yquem.
